Mel is a teacher at Yoga Mix. As a naturally anxious being, her parents signed her up for yoga classes when she was 8. Yoga has been a part of her life ever since, ebbing and flowing to what best fits each chapter of her life. She has been calling Yoga Mix home since 2019 and earned her 200YTT over the summer of 2024.
In her current chapter, she is in her gap years before medical school, where she will train to be a holistic physician. Mel is extremely passionate about mental health and wishes to show her students how to be kind to their minds and bodies on and off the mat. In her Slow Flow expect some good tunes, a little challenge, and some meditation (Mel’s favorite). Off the mat she can be found working as a medical assistant, cuddling with her black cat, reading romance & fantasy books, studying, baking cookies, babysitting neighborhood kiddos and pups, and overall building a slow and mindful life.
